A seminar aimed at raising awareness about various government schemes was organized by Vidya Charitable Trust in Dadar on Thursday. The event drew a large number of attendees and received an overwhelmingly positive response from the public.
During the session, detailed information about key government initiatives and welfare programs was shared. The audience actively participated, showing great interest in understanding how these schemes could benefit them.
We noted the spontaneous and enthusiastic engagement from citizens, reflecting a growing awareness and curiosity about government welfare measures.

In a pioneering initiative, Vidya Charitable Trust, in collaboration with the District Industries Centre, organized the first-ever free electric training program exclusively for women in Khopoli. The training aims to empower women by providing them with technical skills in the electrical field.
The program received a warm response from local women, many of whom expressed enthusiasm about gaining practical knowledge and enhancing their employment opportunities. Organizers hope this initiative will encourage more women to enter and excel in technical professions.

Sai Sangeet Vidyalaya Students Perform Tabla on Shivratri at Vireshwar Mandir
Students of Sai Sangeet Vidyalaya, Khopoli, showcased their talent by performing a tabla recital at Vireshwar Mandir on the auspicious occasion of Shivratri. The event was sponsored by Vidya Charitable Trust and was graced by melodious rhythms that captivated the devotees present.
The music school, founded by Ravindra Kulkarni, continues to nurture young talent in classical music, encouraging cultural participation in the community.
Vidya Charitable Trust has generously donated a public water dispenser to the Vitthal Temple in Khopoli. This initiative aims to provide easy access to clean drinking water for devotees and visitors at the temple premises. The trust continues to support community welfare through such contributions.

Training: Electric Vehicle Maintenance
Location: Chakan, Pune
Mahindra & Mahindra, Chakan Pune, has launched a specialized training program in electric vehicle maintenance targeting young men and women aged 18 to 26 years. Candidates who have completed their 10th standard are eligible to participate.
The 25-day training aims to equip trainees with essential skills for the growing electric vehicle sector. Participants will also receive job assistance upon successful completion of the program.
The training is conducted at the Chakan center, with Vidya Charitable Trust facilitating contact and coordination for interested candidates.
Vidya Charitable Trust, Pune (Maharashtra), recently conducted an awareness and registration drive for the Prime Minister Vishwakarma Scheme in Khopoli. The event saw active participation from locals eager to benefit from the government initiative.
In addition, Mrs. Anagha Tamhankar from Sanskrit Bharati announced a significant initiative to provide free education in the Devboli Sanskrit language for young children, aiming to preserve and promote the classical language.
The event also featured special offers on gold purchases presented by Chandukaka Saraf Jewelers, Pune.
Mr. Pradeep Govani, Manager, along with his team, were present to support the program. The entire event was conducted with great enthusiasm and community spirit.
The program was hosted by Shri Vitthal Rakhumai Mandal, with Shri Santosh Shinde warmly welcoming all attendees. Shri Amit Kulkarni expressed his gratitude towards the villagers for their participation.
The ‘Gatiman Pandharawada’ event, organized by the Vidya Charitable Trust and run by, Chief Minister Employment Generation Program witnessed an enthusiastic response from women entrepreneurs.
The resources and support for the program were provided by Vidya Charitable Trust, aiming to promote and support local entrepreneurship, empowering women to contribute actively to the economy.
The event encouraged many women to showcase their businesses and explore new opportunities for growth and development.
Vidya Charitable Trust was recently mentioned in a newspaper for its commendable efforts and contributions toward the implementation and promotion of the Pradhanmantri Matsya Sampada Yojna. The trust’s initiatives have played a significant role in advancing the scheme’s objectives in the community near Pune and Raigad district.

Event: Free training for 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler mechanics
Organizer: Castrol under RPL scheme
Certification: Participants were certified with certificates
Castrol, under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) scheme, provided free training to mechanics specializing in 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler vehicles. Upon completion, participants were awarded certificates recognizing their skills.
The program was supported by Vidya Charitable Trust, which facilitated coordination and outreach for the training.

A free training program on Cyber Security and Basic Computer skills was organized in Dehu, with active participation from 80+ womens. The initiative aimed to empower women by enhancing their digital literacy and awareness of online safety.
The program was successfully conducted by Vidya Charitable Trust who organized and facilitated the event.
Through the efforts of Vidya Charitable Trust, a vibrant cultural program was organized in Khopoli. As part of the event, the palakhi of Granthraj Dnyaneshwari was carried out across the city.
Nearly 300 devotees from the Warkari community participated enthusiastically in the procession, showcasing their devotion and cultural heritage
As part of the women empowerment initiative, certificates were awarded to women who successfully completed training in saw(aari) work. This program aims to equip women with practical skills to enhance their livelihood opportunities.
In a unique chess event organized by Shri Shard Vaze, the President of Vidya Charitable Trust inaugurated the tournament by making the ceremonial first move. The event featured a grand chess match with 100 players participating simultaneously.
This initiative aimed to promote strategic thinking and intellectual development among youth, drawing attention and appreciation from the local community.

In DEC 2020, Vidya Charitable Trust, organized a COVID-19 food relief distribution drive in Maharashtra to support underprivileged families affected by the lockdown.
The initiative aimed to provide essential food support to those who lost their livelihoods during the pandemic. Volunteers from the trust identified needy families and distributed food relief packets.
